Public Relations Intern - for immediate hire

My Friend Linkin is hiring a Public Relations/Marketing Intern to work 10-12 hours a week, split time remotely and in-person depending on the week. This Public Relations/Marketing intern will be involved in a variety of aspects of marketing and communications and working closely with our event manager.

 

*Create “Storytime Sunday” videos with My Friend children reading books. This would include small editing, snipping, and splicing portions together to ensure a clear story is recorded. Create fun videos for TikTok, IG, Twitter and more. Work with Naudia and Linkin to create and edit videos. 

 

*Plan events such as “Annual Mini-Golf Tournament. This person will work with our events manager to plan all details of the golf tournament including planning pre-work such as garnering raffle prizes and hole sponsors. This person will use their communication skills to work with vendors, and plan aspects of the event that includes, but is not limited to:

Food prep (communicating with food vendors)

Volunteers (setting up and organizing a schedule and plan of action)

Prepare media plan 

Be there for the event (September) and work with MFL staff to make sure it runs smoothly

 

*Plan the annual MFL Bike Ride. Work with our event manager to set the route, choose vendors, work with restaurants along the route.

*Strong time management skills as part of this job is remote
