What is My Friend Linkin?
My Friend Linkin is a unique non-profit where kids write books about kids with cancer. It was founded by Naudia Greenawalt and Linkin Eger when Naudia wrote a book about Linkin, who suffers from a brain tumor.
Who can have a book written about them?
Any child ages 8-18 who suffers from cancer can be apply to have a book written by them. Since we are a pay-it-forward non-profit the only expectation is the child will write a book in the future about someone else who is suffering from cancer.
Where do the friends of your books get treatment?
MFL is based out of Milwaukee, WI. and currently all book friends have been treated at Children's Hospital of WI. However, we love friends from all over the nation and location won't stop us from getting a book written!
How can I get involved?
We are always holding events and fundraisers to raise money for the production of books. If you can't donate your time, MFL accepts monetary donations as well to help pay for book production and the journey a child experiences writing and starring in a My Friend book series.
